Hello
people of the Earth! It's my very first time to blog so I do not know what first
sentence am I going to write.
But
first of all, Are you a Fashionista? A Fashion Victim? Or are just like me who just love fashion? What fashion easily draws your attention? Is it the gorgeous
models? Cosmetics? Clothing? Designs? Magazines? Brands? Sketches?
Illustrations? Styles? Trends? TV Shows? Because for me, Fashion does not only
define clothing. There are more!
Are
you fed up with the same dramas, comedies, films with unchanging stories, unending
crying scenes and cliché stories? And you wanna add up a spice to your dull
life. Well,Are you are looking for Fashion inspiration for your next
project? Or maybe, you are just interested
to watch a Fashion film that may trigger your brain to do something related to
fashion.
I would love to recommend two interesting
Japanese films, which I enjoyed watching because of its uniqueness and its
class and glamour. Everyone have their own preferences when it comes to anything, we all have different principles in life, interest and taste so I do not know if you will love these movies.
1. Paradise Kiss ( 2011 Film)

Paradise Kiss first appeared as a manga series by Ai Yazawa that has 12 episodes then later released as a Live Action in 2011. The movie itself is not something like it's name which is about love and kisses in paradise. It's about designing and modelling and of course friendship and love, which you will definitely love. George and Caroline were cute together, and so with Arashi and Miwako. The one who played Isabella was not really gay but he nails it. Every character they portrayed are very well played. SO you'll be fascinated!

2. Runway Beat (2011)

This movie was based on a Japanese cellphone novel, Runway Beat by Maha Harada. It was also released in the same year as Paradise Kiss and they have the same theme which has something to do with fashion. It's setting was also in school but their difference is that they are not studying in an Institute of Fashion. They were mere students who organized a Fashion Show for the benefit of the School. One interesting thing in this film were the designs of a student named Bito/Beat who was a transfer student and son of a renowned fashion designer.

The designers were guys and the weirdest thing is that they wore skirts.
What I loved most are the weird and unique designs. I think it was inspired by culture mixed with modern. Another great event is the runway show where the students showcased the designs, and not professional models.

On the runway was Wanda, a geek and a laughing stock that was transformed by Beat into a cool guy. Look at him! Isn't he cool.
2. First Time (2012)
This is Chinese Romantic-Tragedy Movie based on a Korean Movie entitle (...ing). This is about romance but if you are a Boho-Vintage kind of stuff lover then I recommend this to you. You can get ideas and inspiration on how to layer your clothes. I cried watching this but I love the girls outfit so it was worth the tears.
